Awful crime. There was a killing last year. Very, very, very bad gangs.

I wouldn't recommend it...my coworker lives there and has to park her convertible in her backyard (no garage) b/c the neighborhood kids have sliced the top a couple times.
High crime area from what I understand too.

I live in Gaithersburg, but know nothing about Flower Hill. I'm not even sure where it is located. I did find this though: Flower Hill Central Corporation Home

Yeah, can tell you people don't live there...I've lived there for about 6 months...Moved from Quail Valley Subdivision, which is ALOT worse...too many older kids causing trouble over there...Flower Hill is quieter and more kid-friendly. There are alot of kids around the same age as mine, so they can all walk to school, which is right behind our house...I've lived in alot of not so nice places...this is one of the better ones...as for location, its in between Snouffer School/Muncaster Mill Road, Woodfield (124) and Emory Grove

Thamk You. I'm more familiar with it now and I think you are right. People here may be going a little overboard with the negative comments about that area.

I guess the only way to really tell is to check with the local police. Everyone has their own opinion as to what is safe for them! No offense meant, and good luck.
