Default Arundel Mills vs. Annapolis Mall

I have always wondered what mall had more to offer and what was generally better, more lively. Personally, I think Arundel Mills has much more to offer in terms of stores, but when I go there, something just dosen't feel right, feels like something is missing. I usually don't feel that when I go to Annapolis Mall. I also have to admit, Im a McMansion fan and I love all the development going on around Arundel Mills. But anyway, what do you think is a better place to shop, eat, etc. Arundel Mills or Annapolis Mall?

Can't say I've been to Annapolis Mall in a while. Last time I was there, they were expanding (again).

I think Annapolis Mall has better shopping - Arundel Mills has nice anchors, but the mall stores are sort of lacking.

I like Arundel Mills for eating out and entertainment - I'm a regular at DuClaw and there isn't a movie theatre around that is nicer than Muvico. However, I think a lot of other restaurants leave much to be desired. I liked Fuzio, but they closed and the owner changed the format to a Blue Star Grille (which closed also). Chevy's is okay. I can't stand Dave & Busters. Remomo is just overpriced.

Haven't been to Annapolis Mall in awhile, but I still prefer it to Arundel Mills. I think that the majority of stores at Arundel Mills are junky. The only thing I go over there for is one of the outlet stores, Carters, Bass or Children's Place. There's just not enought decent stores there. I like the reclining chairs in the movie theater, but the parking and the crowds keep me away from there. It's also not always very clean.
I do like the fact that they've opened up a Five Guys near Arundel Mills!

The Annapolis Mall by far! it is just a cleaner, nicer atmosphere.
There are probably more stores at Arundel Mills, but most of the time I feel like everything is picked through and it is just one gigantic TJ Max or Marshalls...
Annapolis has expanded and now has many more choices for children's clothing;including Pumpkin Patch and Hannah Anderson.
There are restaurants all over the place there, chains albeit, but still, overall, Annapolis is much better.... just my opinion though.

Both malls are about equal distance for me and I go to each for different shopping/ entertainment needs.

In my opinion, every since Arundel Mills opened there has been more than the usual amount of loitering teenagers and the atmosphere is really loud. What I mean by loud is that once you step outside of the mall doors it feels like you've put on those noise-canceling earphones, and your ears stop ringing.

But being a mile wide the mall is filled with the best movie theatre around, lots of eating choices, almost every store you're looking for and it continues to expand their variety of shops. For entertainment needs, I'd go here.

However I personally prefer Annapolis because it's has a classy atmosphere. There's a more personal touch to their stores and to me it's about quality than quantity. They've put in a new wing, still in construction for another wing of stores, and put in a second level for the expensive seafood restaurant, McCormick and Shmicks. I plan to go there within a couple months to check it out.

If you have children you definitely want to go to Annapolis over Arundel. It's far too easy to lose track of your children in Arundel Mills due to it's fast-paced boisterous atmosphere and in the center of Annapolis mall there is a some sort of children's circle play area where you can sit down, watch them play as you grab a snack at the various food stands next to it.
