Default Homes Near to NIH

Places to live with kids and be near enough to easily commute to NIH are numerous, but price is the main issue. The are very close to NIH is great for kids but homes can cost several thousand a month for rent. If you like older homes, I will have two in late October with a Potomac MD zip code about 12 miles from NIH, 1/2 hour in normal rush. I have lived and worked in the area for years, and handle 3 homes for out-of-town owners. Two single family homes are available soon. IF you google Travilah Road, Potomac, MD you should see the area which is in some of the best school districts. Herbert Hoover Middle School and Winston Churchill High School.

The neighborhoods around NIH are beautiful, have great schools, and proximity to metro and the city. You are looking at minimum $550,000 for an older, smaller home that probably will need some work. If you tell us your housing budget and how long of a commute you can tolerate, people can give you specific neighborhoods and other cities to look at.
