Suggestions for best high school(next yr) for child with aspergers
My child has high functioning Aspergers. Excels in academics, hates sports, a few friends, doesn't socialize easily, but is friendly to those she's known for awhile.
We're looking for schools in Anne Arundel, Montgomery or Prince Georges Counties. Private, Public, Parochial, Montessori.
We know she should have small class size, but undecided about larger vs smaller school size. She will not need special ed classes. She will be in advanced classes. guidance and resource departments will be crucial.
All help will be appreciated.

A friend has a son with Aspergers. He is very smart and pretty high functioning. She found he had difficulties in a large public high school, (not enough one on one) so he goes to Catherine Thomas in Montgomery County. She can't say enough good about it. He is doing wonderful.
