I'm looking for germans near APG Maryland (Aberdeen: neighbourhood, live)

Hi,I'm a 27 year old german and my husband is currently stationed in APG. Since we don't live on post on we have mostly retired military in our neighbourhood I'm looking for friends for me and playmates for my kids. I have a 3 yr old daughter and a 1 yr. old son. (Another babygirl due in early december) We just moved here 2 month ago and it is a little lonely without some friends. Of course I'm not only looking for german lady's, I would be happy if anybody is interested to set up some playdates or other activities with me. We live 2 miles from APG in Aberdeen.

Hi Mom21, what do you mean "if you`re not german"? I am german and most germans should be able to read this message even if it's not written in german. Just hope I don't offend anybody. Like I wrote I would be very happy if anybody near APG is interested in some activities. Playdates would be awesome. Of course I also would enjoy very much talking in my first language other than to family and friends on the phone - in person. That's why I choose the headline "looking for germans near APG". What Mom21 may have meant, and I agree with, is that while your title says that you are "looking for Germans", in your message you indicate that you are also looking for anyone who is interested in playdates. You may want to change the title to "looking for Germans OR anyone else for playdates in APG area", since that will get non-Germans to look at your message, too.
