Default Anyone commute from clarksburg, md to dc?

Hello,
We're contemplating a move to be closer to my husband's work in Falls Church, va. Anyone commute from the Clarksburg, md area to near Falls church or even DC area? How is the commute?
Thanks!

I have driven Clarksburg area to Arlington (Rt. 50 just east of Falls Church) during off-peak times, and it is a long drive even then. Add in the rush hour traffic on 270 and 495, and it is even longer!

I lived in Germantown and worked in Rockville on Shady Grove Rd. It took me an average of 45 minutes to get to work, either highway or main roads. If your husband has to get to work during normal business hours, it will be a looooong drive with horrendous traffic.

Ditto DKF747. Long drive to FC during off peak hours and just down right Horrible during rush hour.
