North East, MD ...thumbs down
I grew up in that small, racist, redneck town. I left to go to college 25 years ago and never looked back. I visit my family ocassionally but try to stay as far away as I can. It's become a tourist spot because of the river and the quaint shops on Main Street. I couldn't wait to escape that small town and the ignorant ways of the people who inhabit it. My advice is RUN don't walk far away from North East. Lots of trucks with gun racks. Totally homophobic and zero cultural diversity.
