I didn't vote for none of those people but what does that have to do with you? I appreciate truth and honesty but you know darn well, at the same time, you're making comments that lean towards being a racist.
Umm, if the majority of the people in PG Cty and on this blog are still in a fog and think Jack Johnson is doing such a great job, the schools are wonderful, crime is low, and taxes are low, then my suggestion to you is to move, because otherwise, the problems won't get better because these people are content with status quo and will keep voting these type of people into power.

There are people on this blog who are ignorant to the things that are going on in their own county. I feel that if I can pass along some knowledge, some data, and some facts to them, then maybe they can wake the heck up and realize it too and do something about it, instead of living in their cocoon neighborhood and thinking everything is peachy and being all defensive when the truth is presented to them.

Nobody likes a messenger of bad news, but bad news is what it is...reality. It's time to face the music, or there will be another Jack Johnson, there'll be another Keith Washington, there'll be another Andre Hornsby, there'll be another Ulysses Currie, Nate Exum, and even Marion Barry since you consider parts of PG Cty as SE DC extended, etc.

You can't make this stuff up!

That was a good post. Articulate, respectful, and not whiny.

Kidfree is on a distinguished road
If were going to look at the laughable politicians of Prince George's County why not look at their counterparts next door. What makes this debate seem racial is that it's squarely focused on the short comings of PG county elected officials, when we all know the American political system is inept and very flawed at best. From lobbying which is the ultimate Quid Pro Quo, to the electoral college, to name a few. Politicians are human and we elect them with hopes they'll follow the straight line; but unfortunately public policy is primarily written by big industry, with their interests in mind, not the electorate. Furthermore deceit/corruption is ingrained in the US political system (regardless of political affiliation), yes there are a few good apples, but a few is the operative word. Furthermore, a few are little match against a well oiled, well financed system of favor for a favor.

Montgomery county politicians in action:
