Ok so maybe I'm a little premature, but we can all hope cant we? I relocated to Harford Co. Md last month. Hate it here. Too busy, too congested, too much crime, too many SUPERFUNDS., skyrocket housing costs, snow, too many cloudy days. I moved to harford from the Eastern Shore...a little town called Pittsville, man I didnt know what I had when I had it!!! My husband was offered more money, had stars in his eyes from the amount he was offered. Let me just say MONEY ISNT EVERYTHING!!! We were doing well on the Eastern Shore too, but this was a big increase...so we moved.
I am completely HEART SICK!
Now to hear that the company he took the job with HAS SOLD IT!!!! Yeah they sold it and now no one knows if he will have a JOB even in 2 months.

I am going thru the same thing. Moved from Ohio to Texas, 3 months later the company sold us. Not knowing the future I am thinking of staying with the company and moving back North to MD. I wish you good luck!

Ah ha! Now I know why we disagreed before. I moved to Harford county in January also. But I moved from Fairfax County, VA. I see Harford as much slower, lower crime, cleaner, and cheaper. LOL Its all your frame of reference

I hope it all works out for you all. Maybe your husband can go back to his old job? Good luck!

Well, good luck to you dpn. Do you think you will be moving back? I AM!!!! Moving back to Wicomico County!!!! We pull out of here in less than a week. Cannot get me out of Harford county fast enough. I really feel bad for the people who like it here! Why would you like congestion, traffic, water and well contamination, high crime, unfriendly people, astronomical real estate prices for 40+++ year old homes? There is so much out there, just go see it and compare!

Default How?

How in the heck do y'all have so much money to be moving around so much? I suppose it's probably old money somewhere that has enabled you as it does the majority these days.
