best place to live between Rockville and Silver Spring (White Oak: apartments, to rent)

Hi,

it's me again - - I also need to rent a furnished apartment in the area between Silver Spring and Rockville.

Do you know any nice area, with some downtown and shopping, to rent a pretty & affordable place with easy commute to both Rockville (near the 370) and Silver Spring (White Oak)?

I need only one bedroom and one bath - of course i'll be happy if I have twice as many, but the important thing is to rent for less (as less as possible) than ~1,200/month.

I don't know about furnished places but you might try the apartments in Kensington called the Kensington House, or the Bel Pre area of Silver Spring. There are alot of townhouses there that are rented.

My brother in law lived in some apartments at the corner of 16th Street and East West Highway. It was a decent place to live. He was close to the Metro and Giant.

However, I heard that there was a dead body found in the dumpster on the week that he moved away.
