Default Trying to find a safe place to live in northern virginia, not far from Andrews Air Force Base

I was recently moved to Andrews Air Force Base after working out by Crofton, MD. I'm trying to find somewhere closer to the base so I won't have to be driving for an hour in the morning. I also want somewhere safe as I have a two month old son. Not sure where to go, preferably somewhere in northern virginia?

here do you live now? If in Crofton just stay put. NoVA to Andrews and Crofton to Andrews would be a wash.

I live in Millersville. It's usually about 45 minutes drive in the morning. Maybe an hour when I go home. I figured living in a place like alexandria va which is only fifteen minutes away would be easier?

The new Wilson Bridge certainly makes Fairfax County more accessible to Andrews. You might check out where I used to live. The community is Wellington Green. Very kid friendly and a strong community association. More open space than you would find just about anywhere thee days.
