Default Cecil County Maryland - Rental Homes

Hi,

I am looking to relocate to Cecil County Maryland from Florida. I have been searching for rental homes and all the ads seem to state no pets. Does anyone know of a good resource?? I have to dogs around 35 pounds that will be coming with me.

Also, do you know what newspaper would be the best to search classifieds for jobs and rental homes in the Cecil County area? I know it is in the middle of a few large cities so I wasn't sure of the best place to go.

Any information is much appreciated!!

Default Moving to Cecil County...

I would recommend against moving to Cecil County and then looking for a job...there is not a lot here. There are very few places to work a few small mfg (W. L. Gore, Terumo), the hospital, the county and Wal-Mart.
Most people I know work in Newark or Wilmington DE, or further south in Maryland (Harford Co) or even Baltimore.

There is the "Cecil Whig" which you can't get online without paying (huge rip-off). The Whig has rental listings but not much inthe way of jobs. There are only a few large apt complexes in Cecil County.

Slightly larger paper is the Wilmington News Journal which covers Delaware, and the Baltimore Sun covers (obviously) Baltimore but almost no coverage of Cecil County in the Sun.

Good luck.
