Apts near Arundel Mills
Looking at renting apts around Arundel Mills and wondering if anyone has any opinions of the area, is it safe, expensive, convenient, traffic, ....?? Are there any reasonably priced furniture store around as I would be looking for a sofa, bed, etc. Thanks.

The only complaint I've heard about the apartments near Arundel Mills is about dogs. Some of the apartment complexes allow dogs and there's a couple owners who are not courteous to their neighbors when it comes to controlling and cleaning up after their dogs. Otherwise, traffic is good with the exception of around Thanksgiving due to all the shopping. You have easy access to 295 and 100 there. 295 is normally running good there, but 100 commonly has issues at rush hour.
I don't know about furniture stores. One other thing you might want to consider is that I've heard it's really expensive at Arundel Mills. The houses/townhouses are grossly overpriced so the apartments probably are too, but they might not be. Try checking with your employer. Sometimes employees advertise or rent out space at prices that beat what the general public gets.

Thanks BigDragon for the info, appreciate your feedback. I'm also going to look around the Odenton area just to see what I can find.

The closest furniture store I can think of is RoomStore in Columbia. There are other furniture stores in Columbia, but they are expensive (Haverty's, Lazy Boy). There is also IKEA in College Park. Or Value City Furniture in Catonsville.

Thanks 7thDirection for the tips, I'll check those out. Ikea would probably be an economical place to check out !
