New to MD..Need Info.. (Clarksburg: apartment complex, renting, townhome)

Hi Everyone,
We are new to MD and stay in apartment complex in gaithersburg. We are looking to buy a townhome in mont county in range of 4.5 to 5.0. We have a 2 year old daughter. Primary criteria is safety, schools and resale/renting options ( in case we move in couple of years). We both work and travel to collegepark.
We had looked at new homes in clarksburg, specifically toll brothers, Meadows at hurley ridge and Ryan Homes SF in arora hills. How are these in terms of above criteria?

Good luck finding information about Clarksburg. I've been searching for a few months an no one here seems to have any info about it.

We've spent a lot of time looking in the area at single family homes and generally got a good vibe about the area. It seems really nice... clean, lot's of sidewalks to walk & ride bikes, a good area for kids. Hope this helps.

In addition to giving consideration only to the geographical area and since you are considering purchasing a home from a National Builder rather than a local quality builder, you may want to check out JD Power's website (JDPower.com) to investigate their quality and satisfaction ratings... Not all builders build quality homes...not all builders stand by their product.
