Sussex DE only has 2 superfunds, one has been removed from superfund list. The other is in compliance., most DE superfunds are in New Castle County, the northernmost point in DE . Below is taken directly from superfund site.

UPDATE: (10/28/2005)
EPA is coordinating with State and Local Officials, as well as with the NCR Corporation, regarding the sharing of data relating to TCE which has been detected in the local municipal supply wells. Based on the extensive monitoring data and continuous operation of the TCE recovery and treatment system at the Superfund Site in Millsboro, EPA believes that the Site is not a source for the TCE in the supply wells. EPA will continue to work with State and Local officials to assist in determining the source of TCE in the municipal supply wells.
Direct final notice of deletion of the Sussex County Landfill No. 5 Superfund Site from the National Priorities List.
