Safe area on Ridge Road toward Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover? (Severn: apartment, rent)

My husband and I rent an apartment in Piney Orchard in Odenton and we love it. There are currently some new townhomes and condos being built by Ryan Homes on the West side of Ridge road (MD 713 - about 2 miles from the Arundel Mills Mall). We are interested in them in buying one for the time being until I finish school – we just want to see what everyone thinks of that area. I think the address would have it in Hanover – but with the close proximity of Severn, I wasn’t quite sure if it would be a completely safe area. All of the houses around there are in the 450s to 700s so I was hoping It was a somewhat of a good area? Anyone have any input? Thanks

That whole area off of Ridge (both Severn and Hanover) is fine. It's pretty far from the bad areas of Severn (specifically, the few low-income housing areas).

Yeah I also agree. The only thing to consider is they are considering putting slots in the arundel mills / hanover area, say hello to major traffic and population increase.
