Not sure if I'm too late for this, but was just browsing around the site and saw this thread. Just wanted to comment that there is a great family community in Millersville called Shipley's Choice. The elementary school (Shipleys Choice Elementary) is a blue ribbon school and top rated in the state. It's also great that since the community has it's own school, the kids all grow up together and live close to each other. The students then feed into Severna Park Middle and Severna Park High - both top rated (see
www.greatschools.net). The neighborhood is loaded with kids of all ages, sidewalks, pool/clubhouse, walking trails, tennis courts and tot lots. The homes are a little on the older side (built as early as 1984), but many have been updated. Good luck!!
