Default Towson

I do not know much about Towson, but I like the home prices there better than Howard County.

1. How is Towson for raising a family?

2. How long is the commute from Towson to University of Maryland Hospital?

3. How safe is Towson?

4. Are the schools good?

Hi
We are also looking to move to the area. I have a son on the Spectrum. So most of my info has come from ASD Mom's on Yahoo Autism email lists. Townson has 2 good High schools. Check Great Schools. net for more school info. Ok what I heard is Howard COunty has a better school system, Montgomery county even better. Baltmore county, which Townson is in is hit or miss. But that is only for Typical kids. Kids on the spectrum get good services in HC until Middle school then the assistance disappears. Montgomery has help for ASD kids all the way through to 12 grade. Baltimore county like I said is hit or miss. Call the principals at the schools and check greatschools.net. For crime call the local police station in the area you are looking at and the cops will be honest with you, at least that is what I was told. One thing I can say for sure is Townson appears to be the most diverse town in Baltimore county. It appears to have the highest percent of people with kids who identfy themselves as asain. The rest of Baltmore county is High Europen in a school or HIgh African. For Baltimore county I have cut my choice down to Townson.
If you get more info from others could you send it to me please?
