Default Moving on a permanent job to Bethesda MD

Hi,

I am moving to bethesda, MD on a full time job with my family. My wife is a home maker and we have 15 month old. I am worried about moving into a bad neighborhood. I was looking at the following apts:

1) Brighton Village Gaitherburg MD (they are having too many discounts 2 bed 2 bath for 1192 water and water heating paid by them). I have seen both good and bad reviews for the complex.

2) Avalon at decoverly. They are offering two bed at 1370.

Bethesda is too expensive as well as Rockville. Can anyone suggest me some in rockville 1200 - 1400 (2bd)? Also, any feedback on the above two apartments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
