What are your office hours?

During a typical work week...
- how many hours do you spend working at the office?
- how many hours do you work from home or on days off?
- what time do you go in?
- what time do you leave?
- how long is your lunch?

Typical Week:

Supposed to be 8 hours (usually ends up 7.5)

Don't work from home at all

Supposed to be in at 8:30 but get in at 9:30 (or between 9:15 to 10:00) for reasons stated below

Leave at 5:30 (or 4:30 or 5:00 or 5:15 or . . . you get the picture)

Lunch for the company is 1 hour and company hours are 8:30 to 5:30. I don't take the hour lunch (what am I gonna do for an hour?) so I eat at my desk and still work (if I have work) and that's why I come in at 9:30 (or 10:00, LOL).

My boss is tolerant about my hours, which are undisciplined and lacking in uniformity. He says as long as you get your job done, he could care less about a 1/2 hour here or there.

Geez, I hope I don't lose this job!!! I might have to act responsibly.

I used to have a boss like that too, until he changed. You never know what you're suppose to do at my office because it always changes. I am a recovering workaholic, but my boss has expectations that I think are unreasonable. So glad to hear that it isn't that way everywhere else. 2010 will bring a new job for me, where my long hours (especially annoying when I'm the hardest worker who produces the most in the office - people actually complain that I work too much and don't socialize in the office enough) are appreciated. Yay 2010! lol

Cool Boss -- Sure is! Good thing too. Some of the other people I do work for can be quite annoying, lol. However, not really a cool job (office manager/admin assistant at an engineering firm). It can get quite busy and hectic since I'm the only admin in an office of 24 engineers. I could probably be making a killing on OT if I could make myself stay in the office for more than 8 hours.
