Default APG Maryland

I may be relocating to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. I am not to familiar with the area and would like to know about the cost of living and the educational system. I know my daughter is only 2 years old but if we like the place we'd like to stay there for a long time. Thank you.

DDJJ is on a distinguished road
If you are coming from NJ then MD is a little cheaper. Although on a national level MD is somewhat expensive. If you are coming to APG, then Harford County has lower property taxes than Baltimore County or some counties further south. You also get more for your money. I am not sure about Cecil County taxes. Your car insurance should drop coming here, too. That is IF you are coming from NJ. There is state income tax for MD and our sales tax went up to 6% last year. It really depends on where you are planning to live, even within the county. There are so many options for housing. From rural living to luxury condos, there is everything here. I suggest you come some time and get an idea of what you like. If you let us know what you are looking for and what you want to spend then people on this forum can guide you better on where to look. Hope that helps
