Default Merriweather Post Pavillion

Hi, we'll be going to see Taylor Swift on Thursday night. I haven't been to Merriweather since the mid-80s! Does anyone have any helpful suggestions and tips regarding arrival time (we have lawn tickets) parking, food, etc.?

Depending on 1) Where you are driving from and 2) If the show is sold out, I would allow plenty of time to get there.

Other than that, MPP remains what its always been- a great place to see a show. Parking is easy, food is available at typical venue prices- they have good beer such as Hoegaarden on tap. Makes for an enjoyable vibe.

Or if you arrive really early, you can eat in town and walk to the show.

Have fun.

If you're coming from the north, you can exit Rt 29 at the South Entrance Road and turn in by Toby's dinner theater. The traffic is usually lighter than if you use the Broken Land Pkway entrance. If you're thinking about parking at the mall, you never know how mall security is going to be. They often will not let you park your car and walk towards the pavillion. I wish they'd been there last Saturday afternoon when I desperately needed to go shopping and there was NO parking because of people going to the jazz festival. Felt so bad for the mall merchants.
