It used to be more beautiful before it sold out to the "god of the wrecking ball, bulldozer, and almighty dollar". I have some great memories of my Native State. I spend hours online trying to hunt up old photos from the 1940's and 50's. Throw in the 60's, too. I was born in 1947, and I think that my generation was one of the luckiest. It makes me happy to hear that so many young, and old peple are interested in preserving some of the best things in Maryland.
