Default Please suggest a decent 1Bedroom apt in Greenbelt,MD

Hi;
I will be moving with my wife in Greenbelt by Oct End. Please suggest me a decent apt within $1000/month. I have heard that Empirian Village and SpringHill Apt are not very safe.Is it true?

Spring Hill is a really large apartment complex and it seems that those are very hard to manage in the D.C. area. You may want to try looking at rentals of some of the smaller houses in Greenbelt. It's also challenging to quantify crime in any metropolitan area. For example, most of the Washington DC area has an increased rate of petty crime, like car break-ins compared to middle town America. Even the "nice" neighborhoods have this type of crime. So I wouldn't take anybody's word for it that a particular area is safe or unsafe. Look at the specifics of the crime statistics: the street locations and the specific types of crime.

I would look at the apartment complexes in "old Greenbelt"... a couple of friends of ours live there and the apartments are nice and the prices are reasonable and within your budget.
