MOVING TO MD. Please help!
First time on this MD forum. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. We're looking to live between Annapolis and Fairfax, VA (due to work and school). It will be great if it's closer to Annapolis, since the commute to Annapolis is 5 days a week for work. We're looking for peaceful suburban areas, great private schools and family oriented neighborhoods? Any ideas please! Does anyone have any info on Landover Hills?

Is there any sort of commute (or other reason) to include Fairfax? Is one person heading that way or is that just some random other place?
Calvert County (south of Annapolis) is very rural but has very good schools, some of the top in the state. Cities like Owings, Dunkirk, and the Beaches would be about 25-30 minutes or so to Annapolis. But if one is also having to go to Fairfax probably not worth the hike.

PenguinSix, thanks for the info. Reason I included fairfax is because hubby will drive to school twice a week just for this fall (about 3-4months). Work is in Annapolis.
