Help!

I just moved to Laurel (Laurel Lakes) and I have no idea how to get to work. I work in Reston. can you guys help me with directions?

Oh my! You've got quite a commute ahead of you. I used to live in Laurel - near Contee Rd & 197 - I worked in Silver Spring. Anyway, that was years ago.

If I remember correctly, you could take 95 South (or 1 South) to the Beltway. Take that west into Virginia. Then, it's the Dulles toll Rd (267) over to 7 into Reston.

Good luck. That should take a substantial amount of time.

The above is correct (although you can also take the Beltway to Route 7 without using the Toll Road, but that is a nightmare because it drops you off in Tysons Corner), and you can also try Mapquest (http://www.mapquest.com) for specific point-to-point directions.

That is an incredibly brutal commute. My old boss used to commute every day from Laurel to Sterling and it would take her at LEAST 90 minutes each way every day.
