I do apologize for the redneck greaser comment but that is what we were told before we even moved there. And unfortunately I was there during the worst years. I did come back and see the new school under construction. Is it finished and are things better now?

Yes, the new building is completed now and things seem to be much better and safer now, it is one of the more modern schools in Prince George's County, one that the county can be proud of.

Yes it does exist in Cumberland. This is not my opinion this is facts. SO what if you live in trailer park I am not judgin gyou I am saying when I went to CUmberland I saw plenty of trailer parks with run don homes and tiny shacks by the highway. I do not see the problem if that was what I saw with my own eyes.
I saw run down crummy homes while driving through PeeGee County the other week... Obviously it's a horrible place that nobody should go to...

Did you drive through the entire county? Don't generalize. Drive down Woodmore Road, Riverview Road, Croom Station Road, Church Road, Mariner Drive, Monterey Circle, Longwater Drive, or Pleasant Prospect Road. This county is 485 square miles in size. You didn't drive through all that the other; be honest.

Obviously, some posts are not worth making comment about.

Yes, as KJG said, it was a cheeky comment towards another member who makes vast generalizations calling them facts, and then complains about others making generalizations...
Parts of PG County are nice. Other parts aren't. I've even stated so rather recently (like within the past couple of days). But yes, I've been through most of the county, from Laurel to Cheltenham, Bowie to Hyattsville, and all points between.

That's why didn't feel it was necessary to make comment about it

And you noticed what

Not to demean your comments,But I'm wondering what have you noticed about these areas?

Just what I said, some parts are nice, some aren't. But, I refuse to blindly say PG is a great place without mentioning there are less desirable places like some others. My experiences have been mostly up around (and inside) the beltway, which is definitely not the best area. Some people talk about southern PG County, which isn't too bad. Others just ramble with the popular news concept of PG. Then others try to make PG sound like Eden, badmouthing anyone that doesn't agree with them.
I'm not allowed to name specific people though...

Hey, emsgoof, no being wishy washy--either you love it or you hate it. Of course, I hope you know I'm just joking. Sometimes it doesn't matter what your OPINION is, someone will always tell you that you are wrong. I enjoy this forum and the arguments that crop up make for great reading. However, in my fantasy world, I see people posting and others responding . . . "hmmm, you have a point, let me think about this." Not "YOU'RE WRONG!!!!" (Oh, by the way, the person who shall not be named, is not included in this scenario. Even fantasy land can't turn this one around.)
