Salisbury with a kid.
I'm moving to the Salisbury area with my 3.5 year old daughter, and I'd love any suggestions on activities and places to visit with her. I've checked out Wicomico Parks and Rec and they don't seem to offer much. The YMCA offers soccer and t-ball later in the year that I'll be signing her up for, but I'm especially looking for some other types of activities, besides just sports.
Nature programs, art classes, music classes.... anything??
We've been to the Salisbury Zoo already while we were visiting, and we will definitely be going back, are there any museums or other similar places in the area?
I'm especially interested in getting her taking either piano or violin lessons, if anyone knows of someone giving lessons.
We're moving so that I can attend SU. I knew that there wouldn't be as much offered in Salisbury as there is here (We're moving from Howard County), but I didn't realize there was so little. Even the library doesn't seem to offer a storytime every week.
Are there any homeschoolers or active homeschooling groups in the area?
