Default Place to live between Havre de Grace and College Park?

My boyfriend and I recently moved to Aberdeen because he got a job in Havre de Grace. Since we arrived, I was accepted to and will be attending UMD in College Park. Is there a good place to live that is a sort of halfway point? We are looking for somewhere that is safe, relatively affordable ($1000-$1300 for a 2 bedroom) and would be fun for a couple in their early 20s.
Thanks for the help!

Ha, about 50% of Maryland lies between those two towns. I recommend somewhere in Baltimore or Anne Arundel counties, such as Towson or Glen Burnie which are both relatively safe and realtively affordable (for MD suburbs).

Havre de Grace and College Park are pretty far away from each other. Baltimore City is smack in the middle of the two, but it's a good hour drive from both. Rush hour will affect the commute to College Park a bit more than Havre de Grace. I'd find a place in Baltimore that's close to an entrance to 95, because that'll be the road you'll both take to get to those places.
