Worcester County, MD hoping for any thoughts
I am trying to get more information about Worcester County, MD. I am currently living in Annapolis, MD and frusturated about the high cost of living esp. real esate. I would appreciate any type of information about the area good, bad, etc.

Don't live there so can't comment. Try searching the forum as there have already been many threads about the Eastern Shore.

OC is in Worcester, do you mean there or the rest of the county? I can't recall any of our frequent posters hailing from that county.

Basically any info about the whole county, we are looking to move there year round.

Again,I was raised in Stockton, MD. I go there from time to time from Phila., PA to visit family. It would be a nice place to retire to, but not to work because there are no businesses there (Stockton) . The larger surrounding towns/cities, probably would be best for seeking employment. I still have family in Snow Hill, Salisbury and Fruitland, they seem to like it, they're still there.

I have a vacation house in Ocean Pines. I could live there year round, if I didnt have to work  Not an over abundance of good paying jobs as far as I can tell and filling a boat with gas costs a lot! |
