The Cottages at River House - Salisbury (low income, apartments)

Anybody have any information about The Cottages at River House off Pemberton Rd, Salisbury? It is a retirement community but I read in a newspaper that the area has a lot of crime. The news article seem to indicate that the problem might be the proximity to a low income project.

The projects you're referring to are probably the ones on Fairground Dr., off of Parsons Rd. If you pull up GoogleMaps, you can see them clearly .... Pemberton meets Parsons very near to wear Fairground Dr. is located. There was recently a shooting involving 5 people. No deaths, but several injuries as you might suspect.

Also, the apartments directly across the street from these projects are very bad in terms of crime .... as is the entire Parsons/Fitzwater/West Main Street area.

With that said, most of Pemberton is perfectly fine ... I'm just not familiar with The Cottages.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Salisbury is very "hit & miss" .... but mostly "miss," unfortunately.
