Both you and I know that these things happen everywhere...unfortunately, there's one person who thinks these things don't happen in her mcmansion neighbhorhood or in Bowie. It does.

It was funny. A few weeks ago she bragged about PG's AAA rating, until last week when I posted the latest and greatest.

If you know crime happens everywhere then why are all your post only about crimes in Prince Georges county. I have never read where you mentioned about crime in another county except Prince Georges.

Hmmm, maybe because it's a landslide.....that's why PG and DC are the areas in the WMA that have the HIGHEST crime rates....which goes totally against your perception of your own county.

BTW, the woman found shot to death in her apartment was in Briggs Chaney, which is in Mont. Cty, but borders PG Cty. It is nowhere near "upscale" nor "superior." She was black.

Briggs Chaney murders spark concern, but overall violent crime down

For the "Woman and Child stabbed" in FFX Cty, it was at Bailey's Crossroad...again, not an "upscale" part of town.

In contrast though, all those happenings that I posted about PG Cty, happened in Bowie, which is what someone considers "upscale."

Also, Virginia Tech is not in an upscale area.

In tomorrow's Post: Va. Teen Guilty of Capital Murder in Double Slaying - washingtonpost.com

From last week Wed.: Two Men Arrested in Stabbing Death of Herndon Woman

You really seem to have something against Prince George's County. You're anti-PG posts are leaning towards absurdity, and you are seriously damaging your credibility.

I lived in PG (Mitchelville) from the day I was born until I completed elementary school. Our neighbourhood was nice and quiet, with friendly neighbours, and I was young but I don't remember hearing about any crime. I even remember camping out with my dad and brother in the back yard a few times. The worst that ever happened to us when we lived there was that my mom got into a car accident not 5min from home because an idiot was backing out without looking and lightning struck our chimney while we were away (unbelievable as it may seem) seriously damaging our deck. When my parents sold the house they said they got back nearly twice what it cost (part of this was the economic climate when they bought and sold it).

Granted I didn't live in a "rough" area, although Landover wasn't far, but you make it seem like every square inch of the county is horrible and to be avoided. Whatever did PGC do to you?

And that is the question that live_strong won't answer.

And live_strong, stop splitting hairs and makng excuses for crime in other counties. Briggs Chaney, Seven Corners, who cares? If crime can happen anywhere, as you say, then it can indeed happen anywhere. And your point about a crime in Bowie is what, exactly? And come on, answer the question, no links, no more ramblings that sound like all the ones you've posted before. Actually provide a thoughtful answer. Hint -- not like the answers you have provided before.

And what does the victim's race in Briggs Chaney have to do with the price of eggs? Again, you emphasize the racial, and that really does call your credibility into question.

Yeah, and check your first link.

It was a black juvenile who killed two white people. The black juvenile was not old enough to get the death penalty, so he'll sit in jail for the rest of his life with no probation. What a waste of tax money.

Check your second link. One of the men arrested is from PG Cty, and the other man is black also.
