Default Cockeysville

Looking into moving to Cockeysville? Is this a good place to live? Anyone have any experiences they could share?

Thanks

Default Stable, aging suburbia

I grew up in Cockeysville and my parents still live there. Not sure what your demographic is, so it's hard to know what you are looking for.

It is not 'country'. It is a stable suburbia, mainly built out in the 60s and 70s. I would guess that the average age is fairly high due to the housing age and stability. However, there are a couple of bars for nightlife. Public schools are good. Strip malls are everywhere, and many of them have been recently updated, so there are plenty of retail and restaurant choices.

Right off of 83 so it is convenient to Baltimore.

I've lived in Cockeysville for three years. The city element is creeping in. There are several large apartment complexes and public transportation access. The area is starting to mirror the closer to Baltimore 'burbs.

I work in the inner city and used to like coming home to the peace, quiet and affluence of this area. Sadly, that is no longer the case.

Smile the hunt club in cockeysville?

Hi dickens,
Could you tell me if the hunt club in Cockeysville is in a good safe area. We are a big hispanic family we have 4 children so elementary schools and the high school is very important. We are a quiet church going family Even my own mother tells me on the phone wow you cant even tell you have kids.
So if anybody out there has any info does anybody know if there are homes to be rented out in this area? any info is greatly appreciated.
thanks
