i go to downtown at night all the time. There are lots of people downtown
Perhaps people refer to those in Frederick as "trailer trash", "rednecks" or "hicks" because you call people "wiggers"... could it be your openess to difference and your tolerance to diversity that earns the reputation that Frederick has?

Stop and think about what you just said for a minute from a different perspective... some people think that when you're only able to see "genuine, pure white country down-home people" as being worthy, then that would make you "trailer trash" or a "redneck". Perhaps they were right...

My mom moved there with her husband a few years ago. They live right across the street from Baker Park and LOVE it. I always want to visit and my fiance and I want to live there because of it's proximity to the mountains, citiesm and cute dowtown with wonderful restaurants.

The new Frederick suks. The implants from Monkey County have ruined this area. McMansions everywhere around here. Urbana was just a little tiny place now BOOM....it's ridiculous...They all came up here because the houses were cheap and now what happens the roadways are overcrowded...I am moving out west. You all can have this town. And what is Carroll Creek..it's a joke that people think is wonderful..whatever!!!!!!!!

Frederick is a cool, historic, quaint little town. Its what's surrounding it that makes the area aweful. Cheap looking housing developments, strip malls, so-called mcmansions, horrible traffic and the rest of the typical tacky suburban sprawl stuff.

Ok well nto most but some if not alot. I haven`t been there in a while. I use to date a girl from Frederick. She had a nice house and verythign but it was just a little rural where her house was. Nice house but too rural for me. I`m use to everythign being 5 mins from me here in Laurel and areas around Laurel. I`m sure it has nicer parts but on a whole to me or what I have seen it looks like it rural.

Things have changed a whole lot around here. Most for the bad, like much much higher crime, soooooooooo much sprawl, ect... Things have gotten worse, but i still like frederick. Thats why I won't be living here for too much longer. And yes, there are some rednecks in the area (not in the city), but not a lot and sometimes frederick is kind of rural
