Default Any experience with Capital or Colonial auto auctions?

I'm attending a Colonial auto auction this saturday in Upper Marlboro. Does anybody have an experience they would like to share about these auctions? How do they treat out of staye buyers?

nope didnt attend. but got a great deal on an 01 accord at landmark honda in alexandria. the auction cars i've been told need a little work, but it may still be worth the investment.

Be very careful purchasing cars in Virginia with an "As Is" warranty. In Maryland "AS IS" vehicles have a limited warranty (usually 90 days or 3k miles) which the seller most honor, virgnia dealers are not bound by this regulation.

Many people wonder why Virginia used cars cost less and the reason is because you have absolutely no recourse if you unknowingly purchase a lemon.

If the dealer sold the vehicle "AS IS". You are hosed. I don't care if you're still paying on the vehicle.
AS IS in VA means AS IS.

Buyer Beware
