You can always complain about weather
. . . but seriously, guys, if you live in Maryland, what are you complaining about? Winter, such as it is, lasts from January to early March. Otherwise the weather is quite tolerable, comparatively speaking. This year has been spectacular: a long and nice spring, a great summer and now seasonal autumn temps that, with any luck, will take us to early December.
A previous poster's comment about the Eastern Shore is intriguing. They seldom get snow. So if you want to enjoy even better weather, maybe you need to live in Snow Hill!

I'm not a big fan of MD weather either, but not because of cold winters - I actually think I could handle colder ones. But what I dislike about the weather in MD is how crazy unpredictable it is. One day it'll be sunny and 80 degrees, the next it'll be cloudy, raining, and 40 degrees. And the humidity is usually unbearable, particularly in the summer. It gets really annoying really fast.
As for the winters, I don't think they're too cold and I would actually prefer more snow. Here in AA county, we get a lot of sleet and "freezing rain", and snow, for me at least, is a lot more pleasant and tolerable.

Coming from Utah myself, I like the Northern DE - MD weather.
Mind you its not as bad as weather further north; I dont miss the 110F in the summer to -7F in the winter... slap on massive sunscreen at 110F @ 5k feet above sea level!

The winters are ok here. I hate the humidity in the summer though.

MD winter harsh? I love winter and MD winter isn't cold enough for me :-) I don't like MD summer. Too hot, too humid. I'd take a 25 degree snowy day over a 95 humid day.

I agree. I'd prefer more snow in the winter and a less humid summer.

Aside from the weather, what about the gray skies?! What do we get, 3 weeks of sunshine all year long?!?! Completely depressing.
