Default commute time to Capitol Hts

I will be driving in to the DC area from the west/northwest on Wednesday evening. Can someone tell me a safe place (had my truck stolen in Canada 2 years ago) to stay overnight that will give me a morning commute time to Capitol Hts of 2 hours or less? I will be towing a utility trailer to the job site- to arrive 9am. Been hearing nasty things about DC commuting, so any help will be appreciated!!

As for traveling to Capitol Heights, I can personally say that you probably don't want stay at a hotel in that town (or county). I For the fastest commute, I'd look for a hotel in the Northwestern part of DC. depending on traffic, it should take you between 20-45 minutes.
