Hi, y'all! Aside from my huge fear of looking/talking like a complete rube (I'm a Texan), I need information about the best cities/school districts near Natick (we're willing to be 30-35 minutes from there).

Price is a concern for us--nothing more than $200,000 for housing. I'm trying to realize that housing is more expensive in New England, but it's killing me!

Any and all help is absolutely appreciated! Thanks!

You couldn't buy a buildable lot in the towns around Natick for $200K, never mind a decent house. If you're considering a move to the Greater Boston area you'll have to open your wallet!

There are some small condos or half duplexes in Northboro or Shrewsbury in your price range, and those are both very nice towns with well rated school systems. Or you could go south to Medway or and possibly could find a house or two in that price range. Most of the houses in those towns are much higher but there are a few.

Or to get much more for your money you could go much further west toward places like Sturbridge, but that would be a heck of a commute (an hour at least).

It is kind of mission impossible, but maybe places like Upton or Grafton would have something? They are closer than Sturbridge.
