Someone had asked earlier about organic stores: There is a nice little one in Brewster on Rt 6, diagonally across from the Brewster Bookstore.

Hello to all. I'm brand new here and found this post about Cape Cod. I've been a resident here for 10 years now. While it took some adjusting at first (lived around Boston) I really can't imagine myself living anywhere else. I hope to be a frequent visitor!

Sandwich is now big money, also try to get your home insured on Cape Cod, ask B4 you leap. Frankly all the Cape is way different. Chatham is the best of all.

To the Cape locals.....what about living in Centerville, Osterville area? Im planning to buy a vacation home on the Cape. Need to escape these hot TX summers!! Have enjoyed the Cape for several years.

I don't live on the cape but I go out of my way every other month to buy groceries at "Trader Joe's" in Hyannis. I LOVE IT! I wish it was closer to me. I like it better than "Whole Paycheck" .... oops! I mean "Whole Foods" (can't take credit for that joke but it is true!).

There's also a store on Main St., Falmouth called Amber Waves. I've never been there, but from what I hear it's very popular.

Also, There is a very nice grocery store in Mashpee called Roche Brothers. They have a tremendous selection of prepared meals that are fresh and excellent! Very attractive store as well!

I find Bourne to be centrally located for shopping purposes. Wareham has a Walmart, Super Stop & Shop, Home Depot, Staples, etc. They're also building a new mall there that will have a lot to choose from. I rarely go to Falmouth or Hyannis. Wareham and the Kingston Mall are easier and quicker.
We also get much less traffic than Sandwich, Falmouth, Hyannis, etc. I can get practically anywhere around town without hitting the big traffic jams in the summer. I just have to plan trips over the bridges during off-peak hours.
