Mass is so beautiful!
Do you who live in MA know how beautiful it is or are you use to it. I am in AZ and when I visit there, winter or summer and esp. fall it is so breath taking I can hardly speak. I have been to a lot of regions, South, North, West, but New England beats the rest hands down. Even a lot of "bad areas" look good. Do you all know this or not? Just curious, I know you all hate other things but I am just talking about the scenery.

I grew up part of my life in South Lancaster, Shrewsbury, Sterling area...
I can't stand the cold or I would still live there.
The thing that I loved so much about the area is the foliage, its something amazing to see in the Fall...the trees and wild flowers were so wonderful as well.
As a kid I had so much fun playing in the woods, I would be gone for hours with my dog...
I love the history of the place...we went on walking tours of Boston that were so much fun...everytime family or friends would visit we would go and do the tourist thing with them.

Recently visited AZ and loved it
We went to southern AZ for a vacation and really loved. I would not want to leave Massachusetts for many reasons (family, job), but I look forward to returning to AZ some day. It was a great trip. So much to see and do and the people were very friendly. Maybe it's not so nice in the summer, but it was early Spring and the weather was fine!
I agree that Massachusetts is a great place to live. thanks for the compliment...I'll tell the Governor next time I see him!

Most of the New England area is really beautiful, but i would say that for almost everywhere in the United States i have travelled. The Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia are gorgeous, and you get the fall foliage there in the fall. Texas and many parts of the West Coast are very nice, it all depends what type of scenery your looking for.
The ugly part of New England is after a few snow storms in the winter when the snow is more of salt, sand, and just plain dirty looking.

I liked Shrewsbury, it was nice because it was close enough to Worcester and route 9 into Framingham but not right in the middle of it, it had a small town feel back then.

The desert is really great in the winter except if you celebrate the holidays there's only so many cactus with a santa hat you can take, and making Thanksgiving dinner when it's 80 degrees outside gets old. The whole brown thing and desert brush is really a cool thing to see but if you grow up in it your jealous every time you see anything green. If I had never seen the desert I could see where it would be a cool experience, like seeing the moon.lol Living here, it gets old, pollution and dirt, you would get tired of it.
Mexican food is the best here! No snow has its perks to! The red rocks are beautiful! I think I am just burnt on the dirt. New England probably gets tiring to after awhile. It just seems so magical from here.

I agree. I've lived in the South and travelled to over 35 states and have to say New England is very beautiful, not only in scenery but in the development. There are spectacular scenery out west, but when it comes to overall urban development New England has pretty much the entire country beat with its charming villages and town greens. Massachusetts has the rocky coasts and sandy beaches, green hills and close to mountains so it pretty much has most what anyone needs in terms of outdoors in a nice compact area.

What part of Georgia? I'd agree that North GA (the mountains) and the Coast are very beautiful depending on what type of scenery you enjoy, but anything in South GA is just ugly. It's just a bunch of flat forests which you can find anywhere in the country.
