Fitchburg now has a new mayor, Lisa Wong. She's only 28 and is seeking to revitalize downtown with restaurants and lofts, etc. She's gotten a bunch of press coverage in the Globe, on 60 Minutes, and a couple of other places. Maybe it will help.

She has also been seen next to a lot of powerful players in the democratic party. She seems to be very hardworking and is trying to put some energy in the city. Some of her ideas are good, some I think are a little ridiculous and over-the-top, but it is still good she is shooting quite high.
