Default Best Christmas Lights Display

Where are the best houses?

I have seen a few cool ones already. A couple were in Oxford, MA. I saw them coming off of 395 exit for Depot Rd. Another house was in Leicester, MA Rt. 56 / Pleasant Street. We were coming from Oxford it was on the right after you turn off of Huntoon Memorial Highway.

They were cool, but not really worth a special trip to see if you're not going that way anyways.

The kids saw the Jim's Christmas Tree light display one night & thought it was cool (off of Rt. 20 in Charlton - Hammond Hill Rd). We went by there again last night (Mon. night) around 8pm and they didn't have their lights on. Kids were disappointed.

La Salette Shrine in Attleboro is definitely worth the trip. We usually go every year on Thanksgiving night. La Salette Home Page

I never saw anything interesting on N. Sturbridge Rd. We rode down there tonight between 7:30pm and 8pm. The lights were very nice and tasteful that we saw, but we are seekers of the type of display you have in your yard! I went a ways past Osgood Rd. and turned around. Did I go far enough?

We rode by your house! Man, now that's what I'm talking about!!!!! Awesome display. I wanted to check out your suggestions before I dragged my husband & 2 year old along. My 7 year old agreed your display is worth a drive by. & Because I didn't know where the heck I was going after we ended up driving by Jim's twice tonight and the lights were on.

We have not. My husband was telling me about it, but I didn't know the name of it. Thanks for the link!

I actually don't remember the N sturbridge persons address. He just stopped at our house while we were decorating and he told us he had the computerized lights as well. I'll need to find the paper again.

The one on Depot Road in Oxford across from the Barton school is good, and if you didn't notice the entire back yard is lit up with decorations. There's another house down the street, at the 395-side split with Old Worcester, which isn't bad either.

The one on Depot Rd. is really cool. They did a good job.

We went to Bright Nights last night. It was very nicely done, but I can't help but feel more excited to see individuals who've gone all out on their personal yards. I can't put my finger or find the right words for Bright Nights, but it's just not the same as driving along and coming upon a house with over the top lights.

We helped the guy on Oxford set up this year. Were good friends with him. He always turns his lights on and had the Claus's come out on thanksgiving night where every kid gets a toy. He also has hot chocolate to keep warm. Next year, go out on thanksgiving to his house if your kids are young.

Now that I think of it, anyone remember the Christmas display they had in Oxford on Charlton St. next to the nursing home? It's been over a decade by now, but when I was younger I remember something there.
