Post Looking to move to MA from NYC

Hi . My partner and i are looking to move from nyc and have been considering MA for some time the only problem is the job market. She is a computer technician for the department of education here in the city and she doesnt really want to take a pay cut due to the fact that i will be the stay home parent until the kids are ready for school one is going on 3 and the other will be a newborn. We are not jumping into this and right now i am just looking for ideas on how to start looking for a job for her in the meantime. We are not looking to move until may or june of 08. So my questions are. . . .

What areas have the best job market in the computer field?

Are there any state sites to check availability on positions?

Does anyone know of any good realtors to rent out a house?
(We dont want to buy till we are there for some time and have pin pointed a place)

Any other tips are also welcome . . .
