Best places in Western Mass?

Yes Shelburne Falls is lovely. The flower bridge is beautiful. There is a glass factory that has a show room and shop, and you can watch them work too. There are small shops along the street, planty of greens, views to the mountains and water flowing through the town.

Take route 2 west of Fitchburg Gardener out to Western Mass. -
lots of small towns and in Florida Massachusetts there's a great viewpoint you can stop at and a general store with lots of great florida mass. souviners. I found this place when there was severe t-storm and I had to pull over.

also go visit Mount Greylock you can drive up it and its the highest mountain in Massachusetts in the NW corner of the state (take route 2 out there)

hancock shaker village is pretty cool too I think its near Pittsfield?

oh and dont forget Historic Deerfield. Brattleboro Vt along the connecticut river is pretty cool too.
