I personally don't give a crap about racism. Oprah had everything going against her and she is doing great. To say the Northeast is racist is stupid. Everybody is racist. I lived with Blacks in college and they're more racist than we are.

One of the most corrupt states full of Marty McGillicuddies who love taxing people and giving that tax money to their Marty McGillicuddy friends in state contracts. Connecticut suffers along many of the same lines. These states need a good purge of the old parochial guard....

Ronnie,
just out of curiousity, have you ever lived in MA?
I only ask because I am a native Texan who has recently transferred to the Commonwealth. For what it's worth, I will tell you that too many of us fall for the stereotypes perpetrated by the media and even around the dinner table. I moved to MA with an open mind, despite the stereotypical warnings. What I have found is exactly what I expected: There are both good people and jerks no matter where you live.
People here are surprised when I tell them that I never experienced racism while living in Texas, and people in TX are surprised when I tell them that I have yet to experience it here. I try to live my life with as much fun and integrity as I can muster; that alone attracts the same kind of people, so I never have problems. It's really as simple as that.
I am not denying racism, however. I know it's out there.

I actually grew up in MA and lived there for 29 years. I agree in the law of attraction. You attract what you are. There are definitely good and bad people everywhere. I'm just so fed up with Black people complaining about racism. That's all they do. They are far more racist than us and they feel we owe them which is complete nonsense.

Thank you for the clarification.
However, I can't let it end here, Ronnie.
Please, friend, think about what you are saying.
You cannot make a statement like that.
Surely, Ronnie, what you mean to say is that some black people complain about racism...and that some black people are racist. When you make blanket statements like that, despite the fact that they are inflammatory, you return to our earlier topic: STEREOTYPE.
You have already admitted that there are good and bad people everywhere, right? That is true of every race, including your own, and every other category you wish to talk about.
Do you agree or disagree?

Meant to say MA (Boston and Cambridge) as posted by original poster.
