Smile Franklin MA commute to Boston/RI

My wife and I are interested in buying a house in Franklin. We currently live in Boston. How rough of a commute is it from Franklin to downtown financial district in Boston? My wife will be working near Smithfield Rhode Island - how rough of a commute is that?

Thanks!

The train into Boston from Franklin takes a little under an hour. There are 2 stops, one in the center and one at Forge Park. The commute to Smithfield by car would be about 35-40 minutes all highway, but there might be some back roads you could take through Woonsocket which could bring you directly to 295. Franklin is a good choice for a couple who are commuting in those different directions.
