Cool Sutton, MA - New development planned?
Just moved to Sutton, Mass (Worcester County). Was told almost 2 years ago that a new Lowes and Super Stop & Shop would be built on Route 146 (near Boston Road intersection). Does anyone have any news on these items or any other development in Sutton that is long overdue? Thank you! -Bryan

Hello. To answer your question, they took the building of a Lowe's supply center to court because some residents didn't want it build so close to them. The judge was just about to approve the building of it, but Lowe's said "never mind- we'll build it somewhere else."

Stop and Shop is supposed to be comming soon to the mini mall on Boston Rd. and rt. 146 intersection, (across from Tony's).

Sutton is not a place in which is highly industrialized. I have heard of a plan as well to put a Dunkin donuts at Sutton Center, the same guy who owns the Center Store, but has only been speculated.
