I'm curious why you need to know this. Are you buying it?

That's funny, I know the Rybovich you sent the link on. It "The Rhino" located here in Jacksonville, Florida where I live. And you are correct the mystery boat does look a bit like the Rybovich. Thanks once again for the response.

No not a Huckins as that was my first guess, but I live in Jacksonville Fl where Huckins are made, and they say its not one of theirs.

LOL No! I love older yachts, and this ones make just has me mystified, and no I'm not buying it as I already have an older 48c Viking. And my wife says I can only have one yacht at a time. I grew up around older classic boats as my father loved them also and restored many a classic in his day. There's no nameplate or badging on this boat and without going aboard and looking at the build plate, it's just a curiosity.

I'm curious why your curious about his wanting that info. Are you selling one that's similar, or is the one pictured yours?
There are wants and there are needs I don't believe its a need to know, it seems more of a want to know.
If it was an all out need he could have just gone aboard the boat uninvited and looked at the MFG/build plate,
required by the Coast Guard to be mounted near the helm station.
Your question seems kind of rude, as if your implying nefarious motives for his interest in the make of an old boat.

And my guess on the boats builder was it somewhat resembles an old Matthews 52' that my great uncle had years ago.

With your permission, I'll lift the pic and send to a Coast Guard friend. He's probably boarded more of these than he cares to remember!

Ran it by the Coastie who ran it by another one. This is the response:
"wow, beautiful boat. I would agree poss a Chris Craft, old, before the AMC days. The bow however has a Carolina flair to it, so maybe a Buddy Davis or a Garlington"
Not a definite, but maybe a lead!

Thanks so very much, It's not a Chris Craft of that I am sure. I will have to do some research on the other two. Thanks once again.
