I am relocating to the South Shore area for a job this fall. I am interested in learning where the best places for a 20 something to live are. I am primarily interested in nightlife, food, young atmosphere etc. in the New Bedford to Plymouth coastal region.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks!

Maybe Plymouth. But to be honest there not really hopping night spot in the south shore. There's some there bars and some restaurants. Maybe look into Weymouth or Quincy probably would be more active. Wouldn't go out at night in New Bedford period.

I don't know a lot of detail about which town has what in that area, but, if it becomes difficult to find a town that has everything you want locally, depending on where work is, and how flexible you are about where you can live, you might try living closer to RI, and looking for your nightlife in Providence, a really vibrant little city, from everything I hear.
