Default Easton= West Brockton

WOW! Easton = West Brockton?
We drove though Easton last week and it felt like we were in Brockton, complete with Cape Verdan walks for peace. Has Easton been officially annexed by Brockton yet ? LOL!

Default Easton is NOT at all like Brockton

Please give me a break!!! Living in Easton is beautiful and there really isnt much crime. I drive from here to Brockton and then I start to see all the low lifes on the streets, its like two completely different places!! Brockton has gone to hell and most people I know dont even like going to Brockton for anything. The people who defend it are the ones who were brought up there and have that tough attitude about things. When you hear of a murder in Brockton its really not much of a surprise to anyone because it happens like every other day. Now if theres a murder in Easton or Mansfield that would definately be news cause that kind of stuff doesnt happen around here. I'm not saying it couldnt but it just doesnt. We are a respectable, clean town w/ a handful of young kids that cause some problems but I grew up here then moved and now I'm back in Easton where I never feel unsafe.

I always thought that West Brockton was the good side of the city. How does one tell when crossing over from Easton that Brockton is nastier? Brockton doesn't really get slummy until further inwards you go, for instance east of the high school and closer to downtown. Even the part around Westgate Mall doesn't look bad.
